Our purpose
Xariir Clothing Co. was founded to give the diaspora clothing that feels like home without feeling like costume. Every collection begins with a motif — a weave, a border, a geometry drawn from Somali textile tradition — and ends in a garment you can wear to work, to Jumu'ah, or to a wedding in Hargeisa.
What we make
- Heritage polos and pocketless shirts with woven collar and cuff tape
- Embroidered tees in five signature colourways
- Tunics, abayas and modest womenswear cut for movement
- A full kids line, made in the same fabrics as the adult range
How we work
We work in small batches with a limited number of trusted workshops. Fabrics are chosen for wear, not for photographs: combed cotton piqué, mid-weight poplin, brushed fleece. The Xariir emblem is embroidered — never printed on the chest — so it survives the hundredth wash as well as the first.
Fit philosophy: regular through the body, clean through the shoulder, no chest pockets. The detail should be in the trim, not in the clutter.
